Check-in time is from 2pm. Check-out time is 10.30am. Where possible, flexibility with early check-in and late check-out will be provided, however, these are unable to be guaranteed. The facilities of the main lodge are available for enjoyment whilst at the property.
Rates quoted are per person per night in Australian Dollars (AUD) and inclusive of 10% goods and services tax (GST). A stay at the lodge is inclusive of tropical breakfast, dinner with inspired daily menu matched with selected premium wines (a cellarmasters list is available at an additional cost), signature evening drinks’ hour (including canapés), selected in-suite bar, guided rainforest walk, morning yoga class and one return scheduled shuttle to Port Douglas per day.
Extra Person Rate applies when staying in the same suite with a minimum of two guests (subject to maximum suite occupancy).
Private vehicle transfers between Cairns Airport or nearby Port Douglas and Silky Oaks Lodge may be arranged with a preferred operator. Helicopter transfers from Cairns Airport to Silky Oaks’ helipad may also be arranged. Additional costs apply for all road and air transfers.
As Silky Oaks Lodge is situated in a remote destination, it’s essential to advise any special dietary needs at the time of reservation. We will do our best to tailor menus accordingly whilst providing opportunity to enjoy a diverse range of premium regional produce. Should notice not be provided in advance, our chefs will endeavour to prepare suitable meals with the ingredients available. We regret we are unable to prepare meals requiring strict religious observance in the preparation.
A credit card is required to confirm a reservation. All bookings require full prepayment one month prior to arrival. We accept Visa, Mastercard or American Express or direct deposit. Payments by Visa or Mastercard attract a 1.6% surcharge; payment by American Express attracts a 2.475% surcharge (surcharges subject to change).
All bookings over the Christmas/New Year period, 22 December 2021 to 3 January 2022 inclusive, must be secured with a non-refundable deposit of one night’s accommodation within 14 days of reservation.
Bookings may be cancelled prior to one month from arrival without forfeiture. For cancellations within one month of arrival all monies will be forfeited. No refund can be given in the event of non-arrival, any unused services or unused nights due to flight and/or weather disruption. We recommend you protect yourself with travel insurance.
Silky Oaks Lodge welcomes children ten years and over.
At Silky Oaks Lodge a group is defined as five or more suites travelling together. As an intimate property, some special conditions apply to group bookings.
