Skipper David White has worked on the Daintree River for 20 years and possesses an incredible knack for spotting the likes of crocodiles, snakes, turtles and birds. Encounter wildlife with minimal disturbance in his stealthy, solar assisted electric boat.

The former Sydney carpenter’s connection to the ancient river system (known as Julaymba to the First Nations Kuku Yalanji) has grown so deep that dozens of crocodiles now recognise his voice, earning him the nickname ‘The Saltie Whisperer’.

While there’s no absolute guarantee of sighting a croc, there’s a good chance of spotting these remarkable creatures either above water or down below via the boat’s unique Croc Cam. Crocs aside, there’s a spectacular ecosystem of unique wildlife to be explored through David’s expert guidance.
